The Story Unfolds…

… Out of Order…

The half finished stories pile up.
A series of ‘To Be Continued’-s.
A startling lack of conclusions…

But perhaps I’m looking at it wrong…

Perhaps this is not a series of unfinished tales,
but one unified story…
told in some Tarantino-esque non-chronological way…

Middle, end, beginning…

A story that has yet to reach the end…

And so I wait to tell the beginning…

It comes out in fits and bursts of non-sequential story-telling…

~

So here we are,

Somewhere between end and beginning…

Somewhere between the middle and start,
between half-way and the finish line…

Somewhere on a continuum…
between creation and liberation,
between the beginning of time and the end of days…

Here we are…

Now we are…

And the story goes on…

~

So what lies ahead on this story-telling journey?

Many things, I’m sure.

The next chapter awaits in several stories, stories about the past which tie into the present and the future.
Tales about where I was, which help to describe where I am and how I got here.

I haven’t forgotten, far from it. The memories still burn strong in the back of my mind.

And there are new tales to tell, each day that I live brings new inspiration, new events, new insight.

There are stories of profound realization, experiences so difficult to put into words that I wonder if I’m up to the task… yet I will try (everyone loves a challenge).

There are stories of the mundane, of what it’s like to live as I do. But even the mundane can be amazing, the profane can be sacred.

There are life lessons to pass on, wisdom to share. Not because I am exceptionally wise, but because I am, at times, simply aware.

~

I’ve taken a hiatus from writing, perhaps because the day to day has become busy and has absorbed my focus, perhaps I just needed new inspiration, perhaps there is no reason, the situation simply is as it is.

But right now the reason is unimportant.
The important thing is that it is not the permanent situation, simply a phase. A state in the cycle. A new moon which now begins to wax.

And so I begin to wax poetic…
