Book of Face: Ch. 9, Verses 1-5

“The Return”

Where have you been all my life?
Where have I been all my life?

It seems strange to me how change works.
Change always happens, always occurs. You can’t fight it, nor should you try to.
But sometimes, just sometimes, we make the wrong change.
Maybe “wrong” is the wrong word. Because the experience adds to our understanding of ourselves, and the world in which we live.

What am I talking about?
Well this, The Book of Face.

I took a new path with this endeavour, moving from the world of facebook to the world of blogging.
Now don’t get me wrong, I have no regrets concerning my choice to start a blog, I love blogging.
But I as I made the shift I forgot where I came from. Those quirky and inciteful little facebook quips. Little bit sized bits of inspiration.

So it’s time to take things back, back to where it all started.
It’s strange, I don’t know where to begin, it’s been so long. How did I do this? Where did my inspiration come from?

I wandered back through old posts;
“Oh yeah, that was a good one.”
“Haha, take that corporate society!”
“Ah yes, I remember that life lesson, be open to the world, that’s the ticket!”

Is that it, is it really so simple? Just let it flow? Put your fingers to the keys and let the magic happen.
Well I guess it couldn’t hurt. Here goes….

Wait, what is this, I’m doing it, I’m really doing it! I’m writing again. Oh how I love it.
Oh baby, I’m back!

So what’s the moral of the story?

Sometimes we have to look back to find our way forward.

Cause that’s what the past is (all it is) a lesson from which to learn. A guide to help us in the future. We can’t change it, no point in worrying or regretting it. It is, it’s done, get over it. Learn from it. Now let’s move on. Next point of order? Sort my life out. Yeah that’s the ticket!

So until next time,
Namaste,
And may we all learn from our past “mistakes.”

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
― Dr. Seuss

  1. Love these lines, “It seems strange to me how change works.
Change always happens, always occurs. You can’t fight it, nor should you try to.
But sometimes, just sometimes, we make the wrong change.”

Thats the truth right there. Thanks for posting.
